We hand-split these three dark slabs from the rubble piles at our Maryland quarry, the same Peach Bottom slate the old roofers left behind. They're a deep charcoal grey with natural split faces and rough, natural edges.

Approximate sizes (each one is one of a kind)

  • Slab 1: about 40" x 12", ~80 lb
  • Slab 2: about 36" x 11", ~60 lb
  • Slab 3: about 33" x 10", ~40 lb

All three are 3–5" thick.

How to use them

They're great for a stacked water feature or spillway, garden borders, a bench top accent, or a landscape focal point. Slate stands up to outdoor weather, constant water and freeze/thaw cycles.

Shipping

These ship together on one pallet by truck freight (Estes), with curbside delivery and a liftgate, to the lower 48 US states only. Freight is charged as a flat rate at checkout. We'll contact you to schedule delivery, and we'll need a street address (no PO boxes) and a phone number.
